Nick David has recently been working on an ongoing project exploring the idea of Faith within London.
One of the most ethnically and religiously diverse cities in the world, London is undoubtedly a real melting pot. Due to such a wide variety of faiths, many people gather in unconventional locations, from community halls to shop fronts. These great and powerful images were shot at the Christ Apostolic church in Hackney, many of its flock originally from Ghana or of Ghanian descent.
Nick said of his experience , ‘The church had a huge amount of energy - I was lucky enough to be given full access to the service which allowed me to photograph without any restrictions. It’s always brilliant to be given that insiders view.’

They always say never work with animals or children, but Nick David certainly knows how to get the best out of kids whilst on a shoot.
This recent commission for Blackberry through Razorfish is a great example of Nick’s relaxed and natural style, and we love the results. Playful, fun and vibrant, Nick’s work fits in perfectly with the Blackberry brand.

LPA Photographer Nick David is known for his warm, natural images, so he was the first port of call when charity The Whitgift Foundation wanted to commission some photography.
Briefed to capture some of the everyday alongside positive images of the residents in their care home, Nick was in his element making everyone feel at ease.
‘Once again many thanks for your work on this and making it such an enjoyable shoot for the residents too who are still talking about it!’ said Catherine Shirley from the charity to Nick. Good work!

LPA photographer Nick David, was recently commissioned by design consultancy Five Foot Six to shoot an image library for Children in Need.
Looking for images with ‘natural warmth and feel’ to form part of new branding identity for the charity, Nick was the perfect man for the job.
After spending some time with Howbury Friends in Kent, an after schools club, he captured these real, raw and honest images in true Nick David style. The images below are just a small selection of our favourites from the final image library.

The ever innovative Nick David has recently been trying his hand at playing Director of Photography.
Working with Jack Flynn, he has created this fabulous Showreel shot during some of his recent personal projects. We love the natural easy feel of it which is so in-keeping with his stills photography.

Adding to his already great selection of personal projects, Nick David recently shot this work-inspired series of images at an architects’ office in East London.
Using a combination of real people and models, Nick’s images are both relaxed and professional – a hard thing to achieve! The natural hair and make-up looks were provided by LPA Style Ellie Tobin while Rosalind Keep (practically LPA family herself!) styled the shoot. Special thanks to Brinkworth for helping with the fab location.
